What to Expect

1. What are the worship services like?

When you enter Lakeshore, you will experience a welcoming atmosphere with helpful resources for the whole family. A greeter will welcome you at the door. If you need help finding our nursery or children's service, they will help you find your way. Our worship team will begin the service with inspiring music that will make it easy for you to experience God. Our Pastor will give a message that helps you get closer to God and get through the week. Service times are listed on the top of the page as well as a link to a map.

2. What about my children?

While you are enjoying an exciting worship service, your children will be well cared for in a nurturing, fun, safe and clean environment. We have childcare for children from Birth-Pre-K and a dynamic children's service available for kids K-5. Click here to find out more about our Children's Ministry.

3. What does your church believe?

"What We Believe"

4. What's the vision of LakeShore?

Our vision is to "build people into fully-devoted followers of Christ."

5. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

If you are visiting, you will not be singled out or pressured to do anything that might make you uncomfortable with. We would like you to fill out a guest card so that we can assist you in your visit to Lakeshore. You will also be invited to visit our Welcome Center after the worship service where you will receive a gift and have the opportunity to meet some of the leaders of our church.

6. How do I get to the church?

Service times are listed on the top of the page as well as a link to a map.

7. What should I wear?

Some people come dressed in jeans while others come dressed business casual. If you prefer to wear a tie or a dress, that's fine too. We want you to feel comfortable while we experience worship together in the House of the Lord.

8. What do you have for junior high and senior high school students?

We have "Paradigm Student Ministries" for students from 6th grade through Senior High. Click here to find out more about Paradigm Student Ministries.

9. What do you offer on Sunday nights?

We offer a number of small groups for adults on Sunday nights at the church (link for our Sunday night small groups). Our Missionettes and Royal Rangers meet at 6 pm as well. We have a Sunday night service for young adults called The Deep that meets at 6:00 pm in our Fellowship Hall. Child care is provided. Click here for the service times and directions.

10. How do I get connected?

The first step is to attend a Discovery class, which is repeated on the third Sunday of each month at 10:15 am. Discovery is a one hour class in a relaxed setting to introduce you to the people, life and heart of Lakeshore. You will also learn about a small group called Lakeshore Life that is especially designed for people who are new to our church. In Lakeshore Life we talk about what we believe and how we function as a church. By making Lakeshore Life your “first” small group, you are able to meet some of our Lakeshore leaders, grow in your personal walk with Christ and form meaningful relationships with others in the Lakeshore family.

11. I’m a new Christian. What's next?

We encourage all new believers to follow the Lord in water baptism and also attend the Beyond Belief small group. Beyond Belief is a four step process to help you move forward in your spiritual journey. Click here for dates and times.
